Clinical Director
Warda Khan is the Clinical Director and Founder of Liyana Psychotherapy, and a Registered Psychotherapist with over 17 years of experience supporting children, teens, adults, couples, and families through life’s challenges with compassion, cultural sensitivity, and genuine connection.
Her approach is integrative and personalized, drawing from evidence-based therapies including CBT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, trauma-informed therapy, attachment-based approaches, mindfulness, and play-based interventions for children. She believes therapy should feel safe, collaborative, and tailored to each individual’s unique experiences and goals.
As an immigrant and former educator, Warda understands the emotional impact of transitions, cultural expectations, family dynamics, and identity struggles. She strives to create a warm, welcoming space where clients feel heard, supported, and understood.
In addition to private therapy services, Warda also supports clients involved in WSIB, Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA), and IFHP cases, helping individuals navigate both emotional healing and the stress that can come with these systems.
She offers therapy in English, Urdu, and Hindi, and is passionate about making mental health support accessible, culturally responsive, and community-centered.
