Registered Psychotherapist
Divya Radhakrishnan
Many people come to therapy feeling stuck in familiar loops ; overthinking, being self-critical, feeling overwhelmed or confused, or quietly exhausted from carrying so much for so long.
“Healing begins and sustains when your story is consistently heard with curiosity, compassion, and care.” Guided by this philosophy, Divya helps adults make sense of their experiences and create meaningful emotional shifts. Drawing on over 13 years of experience working with diverse clients across global and multicultural settings, she integrates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Narrative Therapy.
Divya often works through an attachment lens, exploring how early experiences, traumatic events, and relational patterns shape present emotional struggles. Together, we will explore patterns and develop more compassionate and intentional ways of relating to yourself and others, while also finding practical strategies to move forward.
She works with adults navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma , grief and loss, self-esteem challenges, parenting stress, emotional disturbance, family conflict, and major life transitions including immigration, career changes, separation, and shifting identities. Her approach focuses on building coping skills, deepening self-understanding, and supporting meaningful, lasting change.
Her work is trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and culturally sensitive, recognizing that our personal stories are shaped by broader social and cultural contexts. You are welcome to bring your whole self, even the parts that feel messy, uncertain, or hard to name.
